
Amanda Upton, M.A.Ed

Amanda’s passion for movement brought her to Yoga in 2001 where she continues to discover renewed strength, flexibility, vitality, and confidence. Yoga has inspired Amanda to become an instructor and to pursue teaching mind-body fitness as a career. Her past and present experience with 5Rhythms, NIA, yoga, and Pilates influence her explorations of movement. Amanda's teaching is inspired by Prana Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini, and Hatha yoga.
Amanda received her B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Education with an emphasis on movement as a learning tool. Amanda believes in dancing through life and feels most alive when she is grooving to music in her bare feet! Amanda especially enjoys combining yoga with free movement to unearth the endless possibilities of mind, body and spirit.
